Who publishes this notice

This notice describes data handling for WARDOGS Update, the independent publisher of wardogsupdate.com. You can contact us at hello@wardogsupdate.com with a question about this website. We do not control the game's accounts, servers or official services.

The website is served as static pages through Cloudflare Pages. Images may be delivered through Cloudflare R2. Optional analytics, when configured, use Google Analytics 4. The sections below distinguish browser-only activity, service requests and feedback you choose to send.

Time calculations and clipboard actions

The UTC and local time tools calculate in your browser. They may use the time zone reported by your browser or a zone you select; the tool does not need your precise geographical location. Tool inputs are not saved by the website and are not submitted to a calculation server.

Copying is initiated only when you click a copy control. The site asks the browser to write the displayed result to your clipboard; it does not read your existing clipboard. Your operating system and other applications control what happens to clipboard contents after copying.

A time conversion can run without optional analytics. Choosing necessary-only use does not disable the site's local calculations.

WARDOGS Update privacy choices

You can choose necessary-only use or allow analytics through the site's Analytics choices controls. Google Analytics is enabled only when it has been configured for this site and you have selected Allow analytics. The site does not load Google Analytics before that choice.

Your selection is stored in this browser's localStorage under wardogs_analytics_consent_v1. This small record remembers the choice; it does not store your time-tool inputs. It applies to this site's origin in this browser profile, rather than every device or browser you use.

If an earlier saved permission cannot be replaced or cleared, the site can keep a temporary necessary-only choice in this tab's sessionStorage under wardogs_analytics_denial_session_v1. This fallback contains only a record version, the denied choice and its update time. If neither storage method can be written, a one-use analytics_opt_out=1 address marker protects the withdrawal reload and is then removed from the address bar.

Changes are shared with other open tabs on the same site and origin when browser storage is available. If storage is blocked or unavailable, the choice may not persist or synchronize; the site defaults to necessary-only behavior until you make a choice it can use. Clearing site data can remove the saved selection.

To withdraw permission, open Analytics choices and select necessary-only. A page reload is used when permission is withdrawn so that an already loaded analytics library cannot continue using its in-memory event queue. Other open tabs on the same origin apply successfully saved changes. If a tab was suspended by your browser, reload it before continuing.

Withdrawal stops future optional analytics activity from the site under that choice. It does not delete events already sent to Google's systems. Clearing localStorage or reloading also does not by itself remove previously created analytics cookies or erase information held by a service provider.

What optional analytics can record

If configured and permitted, Google Analytics can receive page-view events and selected tool-use events. Tool-use events use a fixed set of approved action labels, such as using a conversion or copying a result. We do not send free-text tool input, feedback text, URL query strings or URL fragments as analytics event content.

Optional analytics runs in a separate document at analytics.wardogsupdate.com. That document cannot read the time-tool form. Analytics cookies created by this setup are limited to that analytics subdomain. When you withdraw permission, the site also attempts to remove accessible Google Analytics cookies; browser restrictions can limit cookie clearing.

Analytics requests can also involve technical information handled by Google's service, such as browser information and identifiers created by analytics storage. Our control governs the optional analytics implemented on this website; it is not a control for every request made by your browser or for services on external websites.

Google's own handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not promise an unverified retention period or the ability to delete information directly from every provider's systems.

Hosting requests, logs and external links

When you open a page or image, your browser sends a request to the hosting service. Cloudflare may process request and connection information, including an IP address, requested resource, request time and browser information, to deliver content and support service security and operation.

These hosting requests and any associated platform logs are separate from optional Google Analytics. Selecting necessary-only does not prevent the hosting service from receiving the requests needed to deliver the website. Cloudflare's processing is explained in its Privacy Policy.

Links to announcements, stores and other third-party pages take you to services with their own privacy practices. Our analytics choice does not apply to those services.

Email and feedback you choose to send

If you email the published contact address, your mail provider and the receiving mail service handle the message. The message can include your address, name if supplied and anything you choose to write or attach. We use that information to review the question or correction and respond where possible.

Please send only what the request needs. Do not include passwords, login codes, payment information or unnecessary personal information. For a privacy question, identify the relevant interaction so that we can understand what you are asking; do not email identity documents unless an appropriate process has first been agreed.

The contact page lists the details helpful for a correction or bug report. Publishing the address does not establish that delivery has been tested.

Advertising and future changes

This version of the website does not run advertising. If advertising or another data service is introduced, the disclosures and any required controls must be updated before it is enabled. The current analytics choice must not be assumed to cover a future advertising service.

We may revise this notice when the site's data handling changes. A wording update does not by itself mean new tracking has been enabled. You can read about our publishing approach on the About page and the limits of the tools in our terms.
